Fiona graduated from the London College of Printing in June 2003 with a postgraduate diploma in photojournalism.  She was one of two winners of the Jack Jackson award that took her to Puerto Rico for a story on the World Masters Athletics Championships that is currently being  exhibited in Cardiff (UWIC) and was exhibited at ‘Focus on Imaging’ in Birmingham in February 2004.  Fiona was awarded  a Metro Student bursary for her story on the Hemsby Rockabilly Festival and  was runner up Guardian Student Photographer of the Year 2003. She has been published in the Financial Times Magazine and Der Spiegel amongst others.

Prior to studying photojournalism, Fiona worked as expedition photographer on a Raleigh International Expedition to Costa Rica and Nicaragua and at Channel Four Television.
